How long is the limited warranty valid?

The limited warranty for sofas and furniture’s remains in force for Six (6) Months and is valid from the date of purchase. The original purchase receipt is required as proof of purchase. The warranty card must be stamped during the purchase of the product.

 

What is covered under this limited warranty?

This limited warranty applies to domestic use only and covers defects in material and workmanship in the following components:

·                      Sofa frames

·                      Sofa seat and back cushions

·                      Furniture frames

This limited warranty is to the benefit of the original purchaser of the product. It is not transferable.

 

Products and parts not covered under this limited warranty:

This limited warranty does not apply to:

·                      Sofa fabric covers

·                      Sofa leatherette covers

·                      Furniture color

 

What will KURLON do to correct the problem?

Kurlon will examine the product and decide, at its sole discretion, if it is covered under this limited warranty. If considered covered, Kurlon through its own service operations, will then, at its sole discretion, either repair the defective product or replace it with the same or a comparable product. If it is covered by this limited warranty, Kurlon will pay the costs of repairs, spare parts, labor and travel for repair staff that Kurlon incur, provided that the product is accessible for repair without special expenditure. This does not apply to any repair work not authorized by Kurlon. Replaced parts become the property of Kurlon. If the item is no longer sold by Kurlon, Kurlon will provide an appropriate replacement. It is Kurlon that determines, at its sole discretion, what constitutes an appropriate replacement.

 

What is not covered under this limited warranty?

This limited warranty does not apply to products that have been stored, assembled or installed incorrectly, used inappropriately, abused, misused, altered, or cleaned using the wrong cleaning methods or cleaning products.

This limited warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cuts or scratches, or damage caused by impacts or accidents. This limited warranty does not apply if the product has been placed outdoors or in a humid environment.

This limited warranty does not cover consequential or incidental damage.

 

Care instructions:

 

Do's:

·          Assemble according to the assembly instruction and secure the furniture frames by fixing them appropriately. If you are uncertain, contact your local hardware specialist.

·          Please clean regularly. Even a small film of dust can actually create small scratches in your finish, eventually exposing the material inside, making it vulnerable to further damage.

·          Dust with a soft & clean cloth to help trap the dust.

·          Remove spills and smudges immediately.

·          Always use coasters or mats to keep any hot object on the wooden furniture as it may get damaged by causing white rings or spots.

·          Keep pointed and sharp objects away from your furniture as they can cause scratches.

·          The cushions need to be cared for so that they maintain their comfort. They need to be pumped up on a regular basis, at least once a month. They should also be alternated, so that the cushions used most often change places with those used less often

·          Tighten the screws on the legs after two weeks of use, and make sure they stay tight by checking them a couple of times per year

 

Don'ts:

·          Do not use harsh detergents or brass polish.

·          Avoid contact with cigarettes, hot dishes, harsh solvents such as nail polish, alcohol and moisture.

·          Do not place furniture near heat outlets, windows, or in direct sunlight. It is always advisable to keep your furniture away from direct sunlight. The ultraviolet rays of the sunlight damage the finish of the furniture and the finish can get bleached if exposed regularly.

·          Never drag your furniture. Always lift the furniture as sliding furniture could hurt the floor with scratches and damage furniture legs by applying too much pressure sideways

·          Do not use excess water to clean your wooden furniture. Water may leave stains and also cause material to swell or warp.
