Dr. Ashok Sehgal secured second position in the University of Delhi in B. Com. and M. Com. (Accounting, Finance and Computer Program¬ming) examinations. Thereafter, he passed M. Phil. (Accounting and Finance) in ‘A’ grade from Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi and did research work for the award of Ph.D. degree on the ef¬fects of accounting reforms in India from the Department of Accountancy, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. In June 2004, he successfully met the prescribed requirements for certification as prescribed by the Chartered Association of Business Administrators and was awarded the professional designation of Chartered Business Administrator (CBA) conferred by the Chartered Association of Business Administrators, Canada. He has been a faculty member of Shri Ram College of Commerce for more than 30 years. He possesses vast experience of teaching accountancy to students of under-graduate and post-graduate level in the college and has been a guest faculty for Delhi University and professional courses such as M.Com., M.B.A., C.A., M.C.A., etc. He is a key resource with N.C.E.R.T., C.B.S.E. and Delhi University for finalisation of syllabi of accountancy courses. He is involved with setting of Accountancy papers for C.B.S.E., University courses, management courses, selection tests, etc. He was associated as member of the Board of Editors, with the leading institution on on-line education. He has authored number of account¬ancy books for school, university and professional examinations. He has conducted excutive development programmes for many organisations. He has also served on deputation under Colombo Plan at Gedu College of Business Studies, Bhutan under Royal University of Bhutan.
