About the Book

The Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education conducts the Indian National Mathematics Olympiad (INMO) and this specialized book has been designed to provide relevant and the best study material for the preparation of INMO, Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO) and other Mathematics Olympiads.

This book has been designed to give the students an insight and proficiency into almost all the areas of mathematics asked in various Mathematics Olympiads. The present book has been divided into six chapters namely Theory of Numbers, Theory of Equations, Inequalities, Combinations, Geometry and Functions, each sub-divided into number of topics as per the syllabi of the Olympiad. The book contains complete theory exactly on the pattern of INMO & RMO with sufficient number of solved examples set according to the pattern and level of Indian National Mathematics Olympiads. Dedicated exercises for both RMO and INMO have been given in the book. Chapterwise coverage of all the questions of INMO & RMO from 2000-2015 has been provided in the book Additional Solved Examples have been given for better understanding of the concepts. Each chapter has two level exercises divided according to RMO and INMO. Problems from recently held Olympiads have also been given in the book. The book also contains 2015 solved papers of RMO and INMO with detailed and authentic solutions for comprehensive understanding of the concepts on which the questions were based.
