    A ruggedly stylish camera deserves an equally rugged lens. Nikon gives you two: The 1 NIKKOR AW 11-27.5mm f/3.5-5.6 zoom lens and 1 NIKKOR AW 10mm f/2.8 single focal length lens. Both are shockproof from drops as high as 2 m (6.6 ft)* and feature waterproof performance down to 15 m (49 ft)† for the zoom lens and 20 m (65.6 ft)† for the single focal length lens. And of course, both possess the superlative optical performance that makes Nikon synonymous with fine photography. Finished with a luxurious metallic exterior that coordinates seamlessly with the body, these lenses cover nearly any scene, from landscapes and city streets to intimate portraits and special occasions both formal and fun.

    • A fast, bright single focal length lens that provides wide-angle coverage of 27 mm (in 35 mm format), this little lens delivers amazing optical performance. The wide maximum aperture of f/2.8 lets you capture all the blazing colors of the sky at dawn or sunset as well as intimate candlelit dinners without the need for a tripod. You'll also appreciate the minimum focus distance of 0.2 m (0.7 ft), which allows shooting close-ups of flowers or coral reefs in water where visibility may be limited. In addition, the ability to shoot close to the subject makes it easy to soften backgrounds/foregrounds yet obtain the outstanding edge-to-edge sharpness for which single focal length lenses are renowned.

      • *The risk of condensation can be reduced by attaching an optional filter (Filter AW 40.5 NC) designated specifically for use with Nikon 1 AW1. This filter is recommended when the camera is used underwater, or near water.
