About the Book

The All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) conducts the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) for admission in all management programs approved by the council. The all-India test is conducted twice a year and better of the two scores is used for admission purpose. The present book is a complete reference manual for CMAT which projects a complete and accurate representation of the CMAT. 

The present book for CMAT has been divided into four sections namely Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning Language Comprehension and General Awareness, each subdivided into number of chapters. Equal emphasis has been given on all the four sections covered in the book according to the syllabi of the national level examination. All types of questions asked in the examination have been covered in solved exercises in each chapter in the book. Also practice exercises at the end of each chapter contain ample number of various types of questions asked in the examination. Various short-cut tricks and techniques for solving difficult questions have also been provided in the book. The book also contains five mock tests strictly designed on the examination and comes along with a free CD containing five mock tests in the prescribed online format as given on AICTE website for students appearing for the online version of the exam. Last three years’ (2012-2014) Solved Papers of CMAT have also been covered in the book with detailed and authentic solutions to help aspirants get an insight into the previous years’ examination pattern and the types of questions asked therein.
